Meetings IT is comprised of personnel with a unique mix of skills and experience.  With decades of experience in hotel management and meeting and event planning, Meetings IT understands the industry from the inside.  We've also managed the design, development and distribution of an industry recognized meetings management software package, so we understand the challenges faced by today's meeting planners and the application providers supporting the meetings industry.

In working with companies throughout the world, we put information technology solutions to work.  Meetings IT has the experience necessary to navigate the pitfalls of even the most intricate projects.

John H. Maddox, CMP - President

With decades of experience in many facets of the meetings and events industry, John brings significant insight to all projects.

As Director of Software Solutions at ISIS Corporation, John was the chief designer and development manager of the Gold System, the industry standard for enterprise level comprehensive meetings management software.  John has experienced a countless variety of meeting management  structures and the challenges and successes associated with each.

John has a substantial career foundation built upon his experience as the Senior Meeting Planner at Deloitte & Touche and then Director of Conference Management at Caribiner Communications.  Add to this his experience as a Catering and Sales Manager with Marriott Hotels and Resorts, and you struggle to find a part of the industry John has not experienced first-hand.
